Education Marketing Manager
Imagination Stage is hiring an Education Marketing Manager. We are looking for a dynamic, organized, experienced self-starter to join our vibrant theatre arts organization for children.
Responsibilities of the Education Marketing Manager include:
• Planning, budgeting and implementing marketing strategy for diverse theatre education programming
• Planning and implementing the writing, production and distribution of education catalogs, advertisements, on-line marketing and additional collateral print materials
• Planning, implementing and staffing special events, such as Open Houses, Camp Fairs, Imagination Bethesda, Magical Montgomery, etc.
• Market research
Evening/weekend hours occasionally required.
Qualifications:
• BA (MA preferred)
• A t least three years professional experience in marketing
• Additionally, the successful candidate needs excellent analytical and quantitative skills

Associate Director of Patron Services
This position works closely with the Director of Patron Services, and assumes the responsibilities of the Dir. of Patron Services in her absence. Responsibilities include assistance with maintaining the database, setting up of performances, etc. in the Provenue Max database, etc.; generate forms for Imagination Stage’s Subscription Series; day-to-day ticket sales to all productions that take place at Imagination Stage, by all methods available; troubleshooting customer problems and fielding enquiries and reconciliation of daily receipts; assist with reports on sales for the Marketing departments.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to maintaining and enforcing operational procedures i.e. safety, security and emergency practices, enforcing box office policy and assisting with the timely distribution of promotional materials, reception duties and house management duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide database support for various departments including, but not limited to:
- Compile reports including, but not limited to performance sales and settlement for all events ticketed by the Imagination Stage Box Office
- Provide data as requested for various projects for Marketing, Education and Development Depts.
- Manage and execute subscription series sales packages
- Works with Director of Box Office to develop and maintain the highest quality customer service
- Schedule House Management and Ushers
- Maintain and enforce cash handling procedures
- Enforce Imagination Stage Box Office policies and procedures
- Monitor, maintain and apply Imagination Stage policies and procedures
- Recommend improvements and/or changes as necessary
- Ticket sales using all available methods
- House Management for weekday field trips
- Preparation of the daily deposit
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in the ticketing field
- At least 2 years experience in computerized ticketing system including maintenance of performances, packages and troubleshooting; Patron Edge and Raisers Edge experience necessary, ProVenue Max a plus.
- At least 2 years prior experience in box office sales; management experience a plus
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Proficient in MS Access including building databases and queries
- Excellent customer service and people management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good time-management skills and attention to detail|- Ability to work under pressure and to think quickly
- Ability to be part of a team
- A sense of humor is a must

Early Childhood Teachers
Imagination Stage is currently recruiting experienced early childhood teachers for its pre-school programming, for children ages 1-5. Applicants should demonstrate a vested interest in young children (ages 1-5) and the arts. We will provide on-site training to familiarize successful applicants with our teaching philosophy and methods. Weekday and weekend positions available. This is a year-long commitment.
Responsibilities:
- Working from a provided template and support materials, including age-appropriate developmental goals, create lesson plans for each week

Implement lesson plans, incorporating various teaching aids and props to create a multi-sensory experience

When appropriate, generate classroom assessments, tracking individual progress

Communicate with parents, caregivers and Imagination Stage staff to coordinate open classroom sessions, make-up classes, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience required (with age 1-5 population)
- Degree Preferred
