PRE-K CLASSES
Pre-K classes are for children ages 3-5 who can attend class without parent/caregiver. Classes support the child’s emerging sense of independence and greater capacity for pretend play. Class time provides opportunities for sharing, turn-taking and active listening, as well as fostering the child’s growing imagination. Drama & Music
AGES 3-5
Creative drama and music are integrated in this fusion class. Students create their own stories, songs and dances based on popular children’s tales and with simple props and costumes they create characters to bring their stores to life.

Creative Drama
AGES 3-4
Students use their bodies, voices, minds and imaginations to explore favorite and new characters and stories. Creative Drama classes incorporate storytelling, songs, finger plays, art projects and movement to help students expand their social skills and self esteem as well as to foster their creativity.

Creative Drama: Jungle Adventures
AGES 3-4
Building on the Creative Drama class model (see above), this class explores fabulous tales of jungle animals. Students meet (and become) lions, monkeys, birds and more, using stories such as The Jungle Book, Jumanji and Way Far Away on a Wild Safari as a springboard.

Creative Drama: Under the Sea
AGES 3-4
Building on the Creative Drama class model (see above), students embark on underwater adventures where they meet characters that include lost mermaids, friendly whales, noble sea horses, and misunderstood sharks!

Creative Drama: Knights & Princesses
AGES 4-5
Building on the Creative Drama class model (see above), students travel back in time to the world of castles, dragons, and of course, knights and princesses. Stories such as Get Well, Good Knight, Twelve Dancing Princesses, and The Night and the Dragon are used as a springboard for new and exciting adventures in the classroom.

Drama & Movement
AGES 4-5
Learning to work in a group dynamic, students integrate dramatic play with movement. Students exercise their creativity as they explore stories and learn how to create characters that take them on great adventures.

Creative Movement
Students use stories and music as a springboard to the exploration of how to use their bodies to communicate. The age-appropriate skills targeted include the development of gross motor skills, spatial awareness, rhythm, and coordination.

Cinderella Ballerina
AGES 4-5
Cinderella and all her friends make their way to the ball and learn beginning ballet steps along the way through creative and fun activities that cultivate motor skills and develop spatial awareness.

AGES 4-5
Students twirl into sugar plums, toy soldiers and snow flakes using the story of The Nutcracker as a springboard to learn beginning ballet steps through creative and fun activities that cultivate motor skills and develop spatial awareness.
