Drama: Knights & Princesses: #5327
(k-1) Students will use their bodies, voices, minds and imaginations to explore both classic and contemporary fairy-tale characters such as knights, princesses, dragons and other amazingly magical creatures. The class encourages creative expression, promotes confidence and self-esteem while working on skills such as active listening and sharing. Connections to the stories are made through dramatic play, music, movement and visual art. Stories such as Get Well, Good Knight, Twelve Dancing Princesses and The Princess Knight are used as a springboard for new and exciting adventures in the classroom. 

Tuesdays, 3:45-4:45, February 26th to May 6th (no class March 25th). 

Drama:  Create a Character #5328 
(2nd-3rd) The exploration of character is a natural fit for young actors!  In this class students are encouraged to build characters, drawn from folktales, fairytales and myths, by exploring physical and vocal choices.  Students are also introduced to the concepts of character motivation,  structure and the environment of a dramatic story. 

Thursdays, 3:45-4:45pm, February 28th to May 8th (no class on March 27th).

All registrations must be submitted by Friday, February 19th, 2008

COST OF 10 WEEK SESSION: $175.00

Registration is based on a first come, first serve basis—class size is limited to 15 for the k-1 class and 10 for 2nd-3rd grade class. 

Registrations must be processed through Stone Mill Elementary School. Do not register online at Imagination stage.

NOTE: Payments should be made out to Stone Mill E.S. PTA.
