CLASSES AT YOUR SCHOOL
K-8
Imagination Stage provides a wide array of after-school theatre arts classes at elementary and middle schools in the DC area, serving children in grades K through 8. These classes are aligned to the philosophy and curriculum of the programs offered on-site at Imagination Stage. All our classes are taught by experienced artist/educators. More than 15 schools in DC, MD and VA have joined with us to ensure that the arts are part of their students’ education through classes, workshops and more.
Pre-K
Imagination Stage provides theatre arts classes to preschools in the DC area, serving children ages 2 – 5 and are designed to foster the body, voice, mind and imagination. These classes are aligned to the philosophy and curriculum of the programs offered on-site at Imagination Stage. All our classes are taught by experienced artist/educators.
Fall 2007 classes are currently being taught at CCUMC (more information to the right), Kenwood Park Children's Center, and White Flint Children's House.
Our programs include:
-- Drama, Music, Movement, Visual Arts, and Arts Enrichment
-- For ages 2 and up, after school and during school
-- Special Needs Classes (Integrated School Day Program)
-- Reading Initiative Workshops
