ANNUAL CAMPAIGN

Half a Picture

YOU complete the picture at Imagination Stage! YOU are the reason we exist – to bring you and your family the finest professional theatre and theatre arts education for children in the region.

Every year, we must raise over $2 million in order to provide the programs we offer. Ticket prices and tuition cover only about 50% of our costs. Imagination Stage is supported by a constellation of funding sources, including businesses, foundations, government (county, state and federal), and hundreds of individuals. All of these are critical to our success, and we deeply appreciate our donors, who make our work possible.

This is where YOU can help…your support brings the WHOLE show to life! Imagination Stage is 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization, so your gift is tax-deductible and is put to work every day on stage and in our classrooms.

Give by shopping!  When you shop through GoodShop.com, they'll donate an average of 3% of all of your purchases to Imagination Stage.  GoodShop.com is an online shopping mall which features hundreds of stores including Best Buy, Macy's, Apple, Nike, eBay, the Gap, Target, and more. It's easy - just go to GoodShop.com, choose Imagination Stage as your recipient cause, click on the store's logo and then shop as you normally would! You get the exact same prices and service as if you went directly to the store's website.  And you can also use GoodSearch.com, which makes a donation to us for each internet search. We wish you a safe and happy holiday season!

ACCESS & INCLUSION
Imagination Stage's core philosophy of inclusion and opportunity for students with physical, cognitive or developmental disabilities, or children who are deaf or hard of hearing remains central to its mission.

Arts Access
Arts Access Theatre and Education programs provide children and teens with special needs a venue to build confidence and artistic and social skills in a non-competitive supportive environment, through peer classes, performance ensembles, and hands-on opportunities in mainstream classes. Imagination Stage welcomes young people with physical, developmental, cognitive, and language disabilities (including autism). For more information about our nationally recognized AccessAbility Program, contact Diane Nutting at (301) 280-1637 or dnutting@imaginationstage.org. DONATE NOW!

Deaf Access
Our nationally recognized Deaf Access program provides performance and theatre arts education opportunities for students who are deaf, hard of hearing, or kids of deaf adults (KODA). The Senior Deaf Access Company integrates deaf and hearing students in a unique ensemble experience. Each year, they perform children’s stories in a distinctive theatrical style which blends sign language with spoken, along with music, mime and dance. For more information about the Deaf Access Program, contact Lisa Agogliati at (301) 280-1630 or lagogliati@imaginationstage.org. DONATE NOW!

IQ (Imagination Quest)
Residencies in some of the most under-resourced schools in the region provide our ground-breaking program, which uses theatre arts as a catalyst to reach non-traditional learners, enhancing student achievement, fostering creative and social skills, and working to increase parent/guardian involvement. IQ is in its ninth year of programming. For more information about IQ, contact Jenn Book Haselswerdt at (301) 280-1648 or jbook@imaginationstage.org. DONATE NOW!

Satellite Programs
Through its Satellite Programs, Imagination Stage provides after-school activities for children to participate in theatre arts classes at their community schools. Satellite Programs are most commonly offered at schools whose children are unlikely to attend programs at Imagination Stage. Classes are led by professional arts educators. For more information about Satellite Programs, contact Julie Schroeder at (301) 280-1638 or jschroeder@imaginationstage.org. DONATE NOW!

Scholarships
In keeping with our mission to serve all children regardless of ability and economic background, Imagination Stage provides scholarships to those with financial need. For more information on Scholarships, contact David Markey at (301) 280-1646 or dmarkey@imaginationstage.org. DONATE NOW!

Imagination Stage is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
