ZERO TOLERANCE
In order to provide students with a safe and supportive environment, Imagination Stage maintains a strict “Zero Tolerance” policy in regard to physical or verbal abuse, theft vandalism and the use of any and all illegal substances. Any student found in violation of this policy will be asked to leave the camp, workshop or class and no refunds will be issued.

SUBSTITUTIONS
Imagination Stage reserves the right to make faculty or programming substitutions.

ATTENDANCE/MAKE-UPS
Imagination Stage does not guarantee that classes cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e., weather, power outage) will be made up; no refunds will be issued. We do not offer make-up classes due to a child’s inability to attend.

LATE PICK-UP
Parents/guardians will be assessed a $10 charge if a child is picked up more than 15 minutes after class/camp ends, and an additions $1 per minute thereafter. Please pick up on time.

INCLUSION
Imagination Stage, Inc. is deeply committed to inclusion throughout our programming. We offer homogenous arts classes for persons with physical, developmental or cognitive disabilities though our AccessAbility program. We request that parents set up an interview about any concerns they may have about appropriate placement. Consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (the “ADA”), we will make a reasonable effort to include a student with a disability in our regular programs whenever appropriate. Such determinations are made on a case by case basis determined by the circumstances of the individual student and the program in which the student is interested. If mainstreaming requires a companion (shadow or one-to-one) to enable the student to function in an integrated grouping, that cost is the obligation of the parent or guardian. Consistent with the ADA, no student will be excluded from any course of study solely on the basis of his or her disability. However, should Imagination Stage conclude, after admitting a student with a disability to the program, that the student’s disability or behavior places the student beyond the expertise or capacity of our staff to serve, Imagination Stage reserves the right to withdraw the student from the program and refund any pro-rated tuition. Before registering your child, contact Pam Cohen at pcohen@imaginationstage.org, or Lisa Agogliati, Director of Deaf Access at lagogliati@imaginationstage.org to arrange an interview.

HOLIDAYS AND INCLEMENT WEATHER
On Friday, July 4 Imagination Stage camps, classes, and workshops are cancelled. In the case of inclement weather Imagination Stage may be closed if Federal Government offices are closed. On days in question, please call 301-961-6060 and press 6 for up to date information on closings and delays.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY
Imagination Stage reserves the right to use photos and videos taken in camps, classes and performances for promotional and archival purposes only. We regret that the taking of photographs, videotaping and the use of recording devices is not permitted during performances of copyrighted material. Videotaping or the taking of photographs may take place during designated rehearsals, and is left to the discretion of the camp manager and the director. Written notice of any designated rehearsal will be given by the camp manager. However, such video tapes and photographs must be for personal use only and may not be sold, reproduced or distributed.

LIABILITY

Imagination Stage is not liable for the well being and safety of students who are in or around our facilities before a program begins or after a program ends.

RELEASE AGREEMENT
Although every effort is made to provide a safe environment, I recognize there is always a risk of accident. I agree to be responsible for any medical bills incurred resulting from illness or injury during my child’s participation at Imagination Stage. Students are expected to carry their own accident and medical insurance. I release Imagination Stage from any and all liability and/or claims or damages arising out of personal injury of any kind. If necessary, I authorize Imagination Stage to administer first aid and/or authorize medical treatment of my child.
