Development Manager/Individual Giving:
The Development Manager/Individual Giving is responsible for expanding individual giving in support of Imagination Stage’s professional theatre, theatre education and outreach programs. Reporting to the Director of Development, this position will oversee individual giving programs up to $4,999. The position is responsible for an annual fundraising target of $150,000 and managing a base of 800+ individual donors. Artistic & Casting Coordinator:
Imagination Stage seeks a full time Artistic & Casting Coordinator to assist the Artistic Director and Associate Artistic Director in casting, directing remounts, literary management and administrative duties for the company’s professional theatre programs: the Lerner Theatre (TYA) and Early Childhood (TVY) Theatre Seasons. The successful applicant will have a comprehensive educational background, and some practical experience in theatre as well as the desire to see local theatre productions, read plays, organize auditions and work with Imagination Stage leadership on the annual gala and remounts of shows. Prior knowledge of the DC theatre community is an advantage. Patron Services Associates
Imagination Stage is seeking dynamic and detailed-oriented individuals to work up to 25 hours per week in our Patron Services Department. This position will be a job share with the majority of its workload coming from work as a Registrar but will have other duties as a Box Office Associate assisting with ticket and subscription sales. Weekend Sales Associates
Imagination Stage, an exciting and inspiring regional not-for-profit professional children's theatre and arts education organization is looking for friendly Weekend Sales Associates to assist patrons in our Just Imagine gift-shop. Imagination Stage hires a select number of unpaid interns every semester. Tasks are based on the intern’s strengths and organizational needs. These may include assisting with mailings, filing, data entry, creating supplies for classes, working in the box office, or gift shop.
Those interested in applying to intern at Imagination Stage must meet the following criteria:
- be at least 15 years old
- completing the internship for school credit
- willing to contribute at least two hours of work per week
- able to work over the course of a full semester (or full summer holiday)
- A cover letter specifying your interest in theatre and what you would like to learn from an internship with Imagination Stage.
- A resume or letter of reference

Imagination Stage operates under an Actors Equity Theatre for Young Audiences contract and does not participate in the Equity Membership Candidate program.
