These two photos are from our fabulous pirate treasure hunt on Sunday, June 13. It was our final 30th Anniversary Event and over 200 children and families participated. The festivities included singing sea chanties, learning to fight like a pirate, searching for treasure maps and plenty of “Yaarrs” and “Aye ayes!” Everyone got into the act, using their bodies, voices, minds and imaginations to create a vivid pirate world throughout the building at Imagination Stage.
With two pirate shows playing in repertory this summer in the Lerner Family Theatre and pirate camps galore, it was a seaworthy start to a swashbuckling summer!
