Registration Policies
Imagination Stage is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt, cultural and educational organization which does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnic or national group, gender, or disability.
REGISTRATION
Confirmation/Receipt Please allow 6 business days for all registration forms (including online submissions) to be processed. Confirmations of registrations will be sent when a valid email address is provided. To receive written confirmation of enrollment or a receipt for the camp, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with registration materials. Additional documentation, if not requested at the time of payment, will require a $5 administrative fee.
REFUNDS
Your full payment will be returned automatically when a camp is full or cancelled due to low enrollment. If the scheduled time or location of the camp changes after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued upon written request. Imagination Stage reserves the right to substitute teachers as necessary. For all other refunds, Imagination Stage requires a written request and assesses a 15% administrative fee. The written request must be received 2 weeks before the beginning of camp except for the following camps: Arts Express, Summer Theatre Campus and Filmmaking camps which require 4 weeks written notice to receive a refund less the 15% administrative fee.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
We do NOT follow Montgomery County Public School snow policy. Please call our weather line to find out if camps will be held: 301-961-6060.
ATTENDENCE/MAKE-UP POLICY
Imagination Stage will cancel any camp with insufficient registration, and tuition will be refunded in full. We do not guarantee that camps cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e., weather, power outage) will be made up; no refunds will be issued. We do not offer make-up camps when a child is unable to attend. Please contact your teacher or mentor if you know in advance that your child will miss a camp.
PAYMENT PLANS
An arrangement can be made to split total tuitions of $400 or more. There is a $15 administrative fee for this service. Both payments must be made by credit card. LATE PICK-UP
Parents will be assessed a $10 charge if a child is picked up more than 15 minutes after camp ends, and an additional $1 per minute thereafter. Please pick up on time.
ZERO TOLERANCE
In order to provide students with a safe and supportive environment, Imagination Stage maintains a strict "Zero Tolerance" policy in regard to physical or verbal abuse, theft vandalism and the use of any and all illegal substances. Any student found in violation of this policy will be asked to leave the camp, workshop or class and no refunds will be issued.
INCLUSION INFORMATION
Imagination Stage endeavors to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for students of all abilities. Parents are encouraged to provide complete information on the registration form and will be contacted by a member of our Access department to discuss reasonable and respectful accommodations.
SIBLINGS/GUESTS
In order to provide a safe environment for your child, we ask that siblings and guests not accompany the student to camp.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY
Imagination Stage reserves the right to use photos and videos taken in camp for promotional and archival purposes only via print or the web.
LIABILITY
Imagination Stage is not liable for the well being and safety of children who are around any of our facilities before a program begins or after a program ends.
RELEASE AGREEMENT
Although every effort is made to provide a safe environment, I recognize there is always a risk of accident. I agree to be responsible for any medical bills incurred resulting from illness or injury during my child's participation at Imagination Stage. Students are expected to carry their own accident and medical insurance. I release Imagination Stage from any and all liability and/or claims or damages arising out of personal injury of any kind. If necessary, I authorize Imagination Stage to administer first aid and/or authorize medical treatment for my child.
