        Dear Friends:
        A tough economy forces us all to decide what’s really important for our families. Caribbean vacations and expensive toys may be out of the question at the moment but seats at Imagination Stage are still within your means. And I promise you’ll forget the trials and tribulations of the real world for every couple of hours you spend here at the theatre.

        So get ready for the six great journeys we have in store for you. They’ll warm your heart and excite your mind for months to come. It’s an around-the-world music-filled season for 2009-10 stopping in Spain, China, Russia, America’s Roaring 20’s and finally, for the summer, far out to sea with two pirate plays, one for the very young and the other for older children. In addition to the mainstage shows, we will again have several Story Theatre offerings for the youngest children.

        A great day at the theatre outlasts any suntan and lives on in your child’s memory long after toys are lost or broken. Let me encourage you to make theatre-going a priority for your family this season. A subscription is your ticket to ride in 2009-10!
