Imagination Stage

Want to support Imagination Stage?

Start by choosing which program you'd like to support, or pick Annual Fund MD or DC to support all of our programs and operations.

Imagination Stage’s work is informed by our core mission to offer theatre and arts education experiences that nourish children’s imaginations, inspire them to embrace the complexity and diversity of their world, and help them to overcome their challenges through hope, courage, and, above all, creativity.

We believe that every child needs the arts in their life. Arts participation offers a valuable tool for promoting understanding, facilitating learning, building awareness, increasing self-esteem, spurring critical thinking, providing appropriate outlets for emotion and quite simply for enjoyment.

Your support isn’t just an investment in our future, but a gift that will make a powerful impact today.

The Friends Circle

We rely on the generosity of our circle of donors to sustain the productions and programs that play such an important role in the lives of young people. You and your contribution truly makes a difference.

CELEBRATING THE WOMEN WHO MADE IMAGINATION STAGE

2024 ANNUAL GALA

The 2024 Annual Gala: Celebrating the Women Who Made Imagination Stage will be on Friday, May 10, 2024, at The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington DC. The Annual Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and all funds raised support our professional theatre and arts education programs.

Join us as we celebrate Founding Artistic Director Janet Stanford’s extraordinary contributions to Imagination Stage over the past 30 years, along with those of other women who made Imagination Stage into the youth arts powerhouse it is today.
